It’s both rustic and sophisticated with mid-century lines and a beachy/coastal touch that combine to give it charm & warmth...with a little bit of "fancy."

A perfect example of functional art: Vintage table with a mother of pearl mosaic tile inlay. It also comes with an optional glass top (pictured in several of the photos). The tile is genuine, eco-friendly mother of pearl in an ivory hue finished with a high gloss lacquer to accentuate the natural iridescence of the shell.

The table is made of solid wood and is quite dense. Species is unknown but appears to be heart pine, given the characteristics of its frame, including end grain, color, patterns, absence of knots, etc. Flat sawn and quarter sawn with exposed joinery to highlight its authentic beauty and craftsmanship.

Table could be older than mid-century, but exact origins are unknown; was acquired from an estate located in the North Carolina countryside. Mother of pearl tile is newly added.

Color would be described as chestnut. Reddish in hue with a satin finish.

Can be used as a small coffee table – the perfect size for a sectional with ottoman. Could also be can be used as a side or occasional table. less
