Wonderful Art Deco Armoire from France, circa 1930.
Curved front doors with wonderful lacquered Amboyna Burl Veneer, brass fittings.
Some parts are lacquered in black sides and leg also with amboyna veneer
Excellently lacquered in clear and black piano lacquer and high-gloss polished.
Inside, it has four adjustable black shelf plates with fine inlays at the front sides.
The armoire can be completely dismantled (top, Botton, 2 side, 2 doors) for transport.
The doors are mounted with a special mechanism of joints being pulled down and pushed up. (see photos).
The end of the top side of the rod lock is broken, but it still locks fine with just one side (botton). Could be welded on.
The width with at the top is 125 cm, at the leg it is 142 cm
