Brut 01.1 c, a seating object that takes on the challenge to bring active sitting and aesthetics together. brut combines the rich look and quality of natural stone with a self-developed flexible part which makes it possible to sit more dynamically. By using a part made of rubber, the top of the object becomes movable when one sits on it. This solution not only makes sitting more enjoyable but offers improved ergonomics as well. brut 01.1 c is a collectible piece and comes in a limited edition.
The object was selected as one of the winners in the 2018 Kortrijk Interior object award and was on display during the show.
Barh collectibles policy:
Objects made under the Barh collectible label come with the guarantee of being a limited edition.
The new owner who is acquiring the object from Barh, or the intermediate selling party, has the assurance that Barh will only produce a maximum of 8 numbered pieces of this particular object in this specific setting (a combination of used materials, dimensions, functionality and design). Whether or not the total maximum of 8 pieces is produced and commercialized is at Barh’s discretion only, just as the when and how. Selling parties need to check availability at all times, before committing to a sale.
Barh’s limited edition objects will consist out of a maximum of 8 numbered objects (LE 1/8 to 8/8), up to 2 designer proofs made for finetuning (DP 1/2 to 2/2) and up to 1 workshop proofs for showcase and/or reference (WP 1). Whether DP’s and/or WP’s are produced and whether they are kept are at Barh’s discretion only.
In order to visualize and communicate on our integrity, Barh will keep a record updated at all times of all collectible objects sold. Every object will be numbered and will be foreseen of an official document detailing its authenticity.
Reproductions, in case they should be encountered, are not original works of furniture design. Unless explicitly mentioned, no other company nor person will have the right to (re)produce Barh designs/objects under any shape or form as they will become subject to judicial claims.
