All this, however, is lightened by contemporary elements, such as vertical cuts with black details. If the compositional inspiration comes from nature, that of the formal representation comes from Giacomo Benevelli, the artist who in the '60s explored all the possibilities of plastic form - in particular the Arabesque lamps.

At the base of Carzaniga's light installations there is a creative process that is divided into several phases: the origin is nature, reinvented through a collage of photographs taken by the artist or selected on the basis of an imaginary world, which are then reproduced on a sheet of metal material (steel, brass, copper), with a technique of laser cutting and punching, inside a panel of methacrylate featuring a led circuit. The lighting is adjustable for both intensity and coloring. See less
