It is the archetype of every container. Bucchero is a particular processing that comes directly from the ancient Etruscan tradition that has been preserved: color, ceramics, its shape and its particular cooking technique, which makes terracotta black and tinkling like metal. They are a tribute to the Etruscan territory, where they are made. Pottery Bucchero works in the archaeological area of Tarquinia in the province of Viterbo and designs are turned by hand and fired in an oven of earth and rock. The beech cap is hand-tapered. Bucchero Collection, along with the master potter Michele Totino, resides in the Etruscan necropolis of Tarquinia, Viterbo. Michele Totino's laboratory was founded in 2000 to continue the family tradition of the master potter Romolo Totino. He has always worked with pottery because of his great passion for the history of his Etruscan ancestors.
