After leaving Fontana Arte, Max Ingrand returned to France with some of his models to create the Verre Lumière brand in 1968. This pair of sconces is a fine example of a design he created while directing Fontana Arte. Slightly different than the Fontana Arte edition, the sconces retain an elegant and well-designed aspect, with the frosted glass diffusing a warm light. These sconces are well-suited for installation in a room or corridor but will also function as bed lights thanks to a discrete switch. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
