This table lamp was designed by Ivan Jakeš as part of a collection in the style of chess figurines. The Bishop lamp is by far the most significant piece from the series.
Made of white opaline glass, the table lamp resembles a sculpture with its light switched off. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
