This custom-built, prototype ceramic coffee table was designed by the artist Renate Rhein in Worpswede, Germany during the early 1960s. The table top consists of ceramic tiles, whose design was created during the same period as ten ceramic wall-slabs that Renate Rhein created for Rosenthal Studio-Line in 1954. The frame is made from steel and the legs can be dismounted from the table plate in order to hang it as a single piece. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
