This writing chair was designed in 1959 by Franz Schuster in Vienna. It was produced by the renowned company Wiesner-Hager wich was also situated in Vienna. The frame is made of solid beech, the seat and the backrest are in varnished plywood. On the underside of the chair is an attribution mark which reads: Academy of Music number 102-2 / 203rd. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
