The chair was designed by Kurt Thut … more This 1980s Memphis chair from Switzerland is made of wood, metal and leather. The chair was designed by Kurt Thut (1931) for Dietiker in 1983 as the Series 6800. Even for a Swiss design, it is playful and daring and is altogether a very strong yet unusual design. The seating is upholstered with a soft black leather circle. This black and white version is very rare. less
