This predominantly downlighting lamp was designed by Hin Bredendieck (1904-1995) in 1929 and produced by KANDEM (Körting&Mathiesen AG, Leipzig) at least until 1937. This is a sturdy version with a cast iron mount and explosion protection (for dusty and humid environments). The glass shade is protected with a rubber gasket.
