Designer, artist and architect Ettore Sottsass is one of the most revolutionary designers from the midcentury design period. As a founder of the Memphis group he designed Postmodern furniture, fabrics, ceramics, glass and metal objects. This Pausania table lamp dates from this same period, the mid-1980s, and was produced by Artemide. The lamp shows a combination of materials such as plastic and chrome.
