Each arm leads to … Read more This 1950 brass chandelier consists of eight brass arms curving elegantly from a central brass rod. Each arm leads to a black encased arm with black holder which homes each bulb. The frame is in solid brass with quality finishing. At the top of the piece there is the original ceiling cap. This vintage 1950 chandelier carries 8 small screw standard light bulbs (e14) up to 40 watts each. At present photographed with 15 watts clear pygmy shape bulbs, easily available at any electrical shop. Equally it is possible to use other shaped light bulbs such as candle or golf. The pendant rod is also of brass, it can be made shorter if required. The rod can be unscrewed from the frame then individually wrapped to pack this chandelier in a box for safe transport. The brass frame is in very good condition with some age patina in line with age giving character. Newly rewired, in full working order and ready to use.
