Chair comes with a nice correspondence i had with the designer himself because of the simple reason that i wasn’t able te find anything about this item.

mister aarnio was so kind to answer and provide me with a ton of information: “i have designed the chair on the 3th of march 1970 for a finnish metal factory called metalliteos oy. In 1973 the owner of mobel italia visited my home and wanted to produce the chair in italy.”
this 50 year old chair is very nice condition. The steel base is near perfect with almost no wear at all. The chair still has its original fabric, which has a nice patina but is still in nice shape. This piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution less
