The Roaring black panter, the subjet of this plate, is engraved with particular attention to details and textures. In excellent conditions. Evert Louis van Muyden (1853-1922) was a noted engraver, illustrator and painter who had been working in Paris for many years, following the style of Corot for landscapes and that of Barye for animals.
