The piedouche is decorated with interwoven sea monsters; the belly is all in motion thanks to the many newts, putti and animals (dolphins): on each side a woman surrounded by a colored veil breastfeeds a child or plays with the puttis.

A nymph supporting a shell serves as a handle, the cover is formed of a baby riding on a dolphin and blowing in a conch.

A few accidents on this ewer with many characters in relief (heads glued together, see photos) and a cooking crack under the base. less
