The armchair is of lyre shape with a stop fluted frame, raised on tapering ribbed front legs, terminating on the original brass cup castors.
The chair's cover is the Designer's Guild velvet fabric, 'Opera Celadon', with double piped stitching. Described, 'our first easy clean velvet - with a dense luxurious pile and soft sheen. Woven with a resilient yarn giving incredible wear.' The chair has a loose squab feather filled seat. The colour is a beautiful blue/green/grey.
The show wood is in very good condition, with a good polish.
The armchair is very sturdy in structure with no loose joints.
