The ceiling lamp "Starry Sky" was designed by Paavo Tynell in Finland in the 1940s. The lamp offered is a rare early version, made by Oy Taito AB in the 1940s/1950s. From the mid-1950s the lamp was produced by Idman. The lamp is in very nice original condition, with wonderful patina on the perforated black body and brass. The original bulb holders were consciously preserved, but the wiring was renewed. The lamp is mounted directly on the ceiling and was only hung on a rope for better pictures. This piece has an attribution mark,
