He began to work on u-450 series right after the ´58 expo exhibition in brussels. The success of the czech pavilion pushed czech design toward a soft modernism of pastel colours and new geometries which would later be called ‘brussels style’ and the u-450 sideboards would become its leading exemplars. These cabinets were revolutionary in the technical innovations that allowed their mass production and affordable prices in times when there was a great demand for furniture in czechoslovakia. This u-460 sideboard has a veneered wooden construction, two opening wooden doors have veneered finish, on the side there are iconic drawers with gray formica fronts and running black handles. this piece has an attribution mark,
