Danish lighting manufacturer nordisk solar was founded in 1919 by jacob l. Jørgensen and herluf sørensen and is well known for its mid-century modern pendants and layered lighting designs. This p 267 lamp was designed by svend middelboe for nordisk solar in the mid fifties. It has a metal white lacquered shade finished with brass and wood. This lamp is a reflection of the ultra refined danish design aesthetics of the midcentury period. The lamp stands in its original and good condition.
