A typical example of the dutch design of the early 1950s. A nice beechwood desk with clear lines and a "no nonsense" approach in its design. The secretary remains in its original conditions. Because the housing after the 2nd ww were very small the furniture of that period was compact to. This way the room wasn't filled with large furniture pieces. A lot of furniture was collapsible - for instance beds, tables and desks like this one. i have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
