This collection collaborated with the Kaizawa sculptural workshop where they have designed and carved a contemporary Ainu motif representing the eyes of the Blakiston Fish Owl, a symbol of protection for the Ainu people.

The Ainu owl motif has been echoed in the collection's white clay ceramic designs, which are cast and hand-finished by specialists in the Veneto region, Italy. The Matcha bowl is unique, the perfect ceramic teaware vessel for mixing and whisking a traditional matcha tea. The internal cavity is smooth and round that allows for better brewing, with an external rectangular shape designed for an easy grip when sipping the tea. less
