This collection collaborated with the Kaizawa sculptural workshop where they have designed and carved a contemporary Ainu motif representing the eyes of the Blakiston Fish Owl, a symbol of protection for the Ainu people.

The Ainu linens are carefully hand embroidered using 100% silk thread for the motif. The hand-embroidered linen runner is made with the use of thick linen (400 gsm) to ensure it remains weighted to the desired position on the table. Made with three separate pieces, the table runner can be buttoned up to form an extra-long runner for larger table settings. less
