The slope opening to reveal a fitted satinwood interior consisting of two dummy drawers and two working drawers. It boasts a quaint swizzle drawer to the top right hand side above four working drawers with original turned rosewood knobs and four dummy drawers to the left hand side with original rosewood turned knobs. The swizzle drawer can be opened and locked by removing and reinserting the knob as the pictures indicate. The carved shaped solid rosewood cabriole legs to the front are outstanding as is the freestanding back with a moulded panel. It stands on a plinth base raised on turned feet with original casters. The color, quality, design and condition of this handsome piece is marvelous. Measures: h 82.5 cm w 55.5 cm d 56 cm h to fall 73 cm date 1850. See less
