Referred to as 'Southern Official Chairs', this beautiful pair of chairs have been given a modern twist with a shiny grey, green lacquer finish. Featuring a simple decoration in carved relief on the back splat and armrests that curve down at the front into the supporting posts, distinctive of this style of chair. The footrest and supporting stretchers gradually step up to indicate the high rank of the sitter.
