signed louis (1855-1919) and françois (1857-1930) moreau, the main work represents the god of the seas carrying his trident standing on his chariot, pulled by sea horses. The lower part has a working clock with a key, with a dial painted with floral motifs and the chevassu mark "lorient-brest-nantes". A plate is fixed on the base where the following mention appears : " neptune par l.& f. Moreau, mlle d'or ".
on each vase, a whaler seems to struggle against the elements in order to carry out his mission.
