An excellent quality chest of drawers which has been sympathetically re-finished by hand in a sealer - not varnish. It has a smooth waxed finish, but still retains a few light authentic marks to highlight its genuine heritage.

Made in solid figured walnut, the sides are veneered in figured walnut. The drawers have solid mahogany interiors with dovetail construction, they are all in very good working order. There are a few marks to the interior of one top drawer. The handles are stamped C&A for Crofts & Assinder. There is a key that works all of the locks.
