Ritorto means … more Large Ritorto vase blown glass with gold leaf circa 1955 by Archimede Seguso (1909-1999) for Vetreria Archimede Seguso. Ritorto means twined in Italian. This hand blown glass vase is made up of columns of opalescent and Large toffee colored twisted glass to form a spiral shaped vase. Archimede Seguso (1909-1999) formed his own glass factory in 1946, called Vetreria Archimede Seguso. In his factory he experimented with a wide range of forms and colors subject matters and abstract shapes. Literature: 'The Martin Cohen Collection Final Chapter', p. 309. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
