Pair of chairs in straw standing on four legs in wood linked in pairs. Structure in wood with seat in straw and molded back. Work realized in the 1940’s. Dimensions: H 63 x W 45 x D 37 cm. Charles Dudouyt (1885-1946) is a French designer and decorator. He studied at the Germain Pilon school of design and then worked as a painter, illustrating publications for Calmann-Levy and the Assiette au Beurre. After the First World War, he would design and make produce pieces of furniture, floor lamps and other decorative objects.
