Karl Blossfeldt Photogravure from the edition of the book 'Wunder in der Natur' in 1942. Photography number 25. Cotula coronopifolia. Krähenfublätterige Laugenblume. Fruchtköpfchen in 30 facher Vergrößerung. In original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Karl Blossfeldt (June 13, 1865-December 9, 1932) was a German photographer, sculptor, teacher, and artist who worked in Berlin, Germany. He is best known for his close-up photographs of plants and living things, published in 1929 as, Urformen der Kunst quickly became an international bestseller and in turn, made Blossfeldt famous almost overnight. The photogravure comes framed. Measures: 40 x 50 x 1 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
