A beautiful teacher’s desk designed in Belgium around 1950.
The table has a thin black lacquered metal base with a grey formica top. Underneath the top, there’s the black metal shelf that functions for storage of smaller items like papers, staplers, pens and other office items. The minimalist style of the piece makes it a beautiful example of mid-century modern design. It can still function as a teacher’s desk, but would also a beautiful for any other office space or a fantastic decorative addition to the decor!
It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
