A mailbox from the time of Art Nouveau.
The mailbox is made by hand.
The compounds were riveted: the grating in front of the sight glass, the lock, the sliding rails for the glass, the hinges.
The grid in front of the sight glass is made of individual struts that are inserted into each other. This step is carried out in the glowing state, whereby a strut is pierced with a hot mandrel.
The mailbox is running in hammered decoration, ornamentation above were forged - on the back very well are recognizable. The lower decorations were turned from square material.
The green sight glass is inserted from above into a groove.
The letter flap has a spring mechanism that closes the valve automatically.
It's a key exist.
