Mir trinxet was a friend of the prominent french artist maurice utrillo and his works are in several major spanish museums. Trinxet defined his work as follows, "all i want is for my works to lighten the heart and flood the eyes and soul with light." artist name: joaquin mir trinxet (1873 – 1940). Attributed. Date: inscribed '8-9-29' size approx: small frame: h 41.5 x w 44.3 x d 3 cm unframed: h 14.5 x w 17.5 cm weight: 1.6 kg medium: etching on paper. Signed in etching 'j mir' and inscribed 'miranbro'.
