The furniture was mostly in original condition and was refurbished by us. The sideboard has a wonderful rosewood veneer which with the reddish tones gives a beautiful contrast to the green marble. The marble top has been honed and re-polished, the colors advance between black, light green, dark green to deep emerald green. The hardware has been re-chromed and adds a great accent. The entire piece of furniture has a multi-layer build up of different lacquers and primers and has a multi-layer final coat of clear lacquer that has been intricately sanded to 3000 grit and polished. A piece of history and craftsmanship to which we could return with much love and perfection to the old splendor of the 20s.
