Nice natural wooden dressing table opening on top by central walnut veneer decorated with labeling patterns embedded with lemon, thuya magnifying glass, amaranth and stained wood. A fire column surrounded by wings, fake and axes are represented. The turn of this panel is composed of a teenager of amaranth and a fillet of boxwood. It is decorated, with angles, squares composed of amaranth triangles and boxwood and surrounded by a blond cherry frieze. On each side two identical design snaps reveal additional compartments. The main flap is held by two zipped compass and garnished with a mirror with the traces of time. It closes with an original lock in operation with its key.
This atypical cabinet opens in front of five drawers and a "writing" tablet. This zipper with its brass button is composed of a walnut frame with tab cup and a red binding leather decorated with a golden thumbnail in Greek. Below, a drawer composed of walnut bramble in the center, surrounded by boxwood and amaranth fillets, has a blond cherry frieze in its periphery. This geometric decoration is found on each drawer of the facade. Each equipped with an original locking lock accompanied by its key, oak sides and a fir bottom.
The sides of this hairdresser benefit from the same marquetry pattern as the rest of the furniture.
The set rests on four feet groove sleeves arrested bringing finesse and refinement to this unique furniture.
An registration and signature on one of the drawers report a restoration made in 1849.
