A rocking chair made in solid pine from fallen tree trunks. This stump chair is acquired from a museum at his home town of Lappeenranta.

"Matti Martikka from South Karelia was a locally known carpenter. His carpentry hobby began with small everyday objects made for home use, but eventually the interior design of the home was dominated by ever larger wooden objects. Martikka carved chairs from tree trunks and made large log tables. He never sold his furniture, but saved it for his home museum in Joutseno." See less
