Description: This beautiful and unique octagonal glass light flushmount or wall light was manufactured by glashütte limburg in germany during the … more This beautiful and unique octagonal glass light flushmount or wall light was manufactured by glashütte limburg in germany during the 1960s, (late 1960s or early 1970s). Nice craftsmanship. Elaborate clear bubble glass which bulges slightly out of its black "iron" coated frame. Illuminates beautifully. Minimal, geometric and simply shaped design. Designed as ceiling lights but they could also work perfect as wall light. The size: h 6.3 inch, 16 cm (d 13.8 inch, 35 cm). In very good vintage condition, cleaned well-wired and ready to use. Each light takes one e14 screw fit bulb (max. 60 w.), led compatible. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
