Signed … more Original stone Lithograph on ivory colored Japan paper with the 'La Galerie des Peintres-Graveurs' embossing stamp on lower-right corner. Signed inside out on plate on lower-right margin. Excellent conditions, including cardboard passepartout (cm 35 x 50). This lithograph was published in 1925 by Monsieur E. Frapier, bearing the impress of his Galeris des Peintres-Graveurs. Ref : K. de Walterskirchen 181 Maurice de Vlaminck (Paris 1876 - Rueil-la-Gadelière, Eure-et-Loir, 1958). Along with André Derain and Henri Matisse, Maurice de Vlaminck is one of the principal figures in the Fauve movement, a group of Modern artists who from 1904 to 1908 were united in their use of intense colour palette. Vlaminck took part at the controversial Salon d'Automne exhibition of 1905. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
