Please be aware that the us recently imposed an import duty on photographs printed in the last 20 years which may apply if you are purchasing and importing this to the us. Edition of 9 plus 2 artists’ proofs. 30x30cm digital print on 50x50cm cotton paper. Rosa basurto is a self-taught photographer from spain who, within a short space of time, has become highly regarded for her original and uniquely stylized work. Originally a painter, and despite no formal photographic training, basurto demonstrates a highly impressive command of different photographic techniques, producing images that are poetic in style and create an imaginary and dream-like world within a seemingly naturalistic landscape. Although each image features realistic subjects, such as trees and birds in flight, the spaces they occupy within basurto’s photographs create an alternative, intimate, almost mysterious atmosphere – a darker landscape of the imagination. Basurto’s work has been exhibited in various group and solo exhibitions around spain, portugal and france. Her work has been widely recognised, receiving various awards including the jury prize for the “historia de invierno”, photoespaña, 2010, 1st prize for the bienal internacional sicafi, argentina in 2008 and was also shortlisted for the descubrimientos, photoespaña in 2008 and the x biennal internacional aqüeducte, ‘european wildlife photographer of the year’ in the ‘landscapes’ category in 2007. Recently, basurto achieved 2nd prize in the landscapes and seascapes category at the 3rd edition of the julia margaret cameron awards, here in the uk. She was also given an honourable mention at the “curator’s voice” apa sf + carte blanche gallery “(un) familiar” awards in san francisco. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
