Harrington died thursday, february 5, 2009 at kingston hospital. He was 88. He was born in holland, michigan on april 29, 1920, a son of the late harry and clara harrington. A longtime brooklyn resident, mr. Harrington was a graduate of the clarence white school of photography, nyc. His 40-year career began, during the 1940's, when he worked a the miami herald, chicago tribune, director of photography at the wisconsin state journal, acting director of photography at the minneapolis tribune actors on set, bette davis, ladies fashion, leading ladies, black and white, photography, bnw, vintage, retro, classic, movie, film this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
