The state of preservation is excellent and the image, sensual and pleasant, describes a young nude woman kneeling in a meadow, surrounded by flowers and butterflies. This is an artist’s proof. Amandine Doré (Paris, 1912-2011) is one of the pseudonyms of Odette Amandine Bonne, who signed also as “Aurèa” or “Madame”, according to the type of subject matter of her artworks. Amandine was a French painter, illustrator, and writer. Her production varied from erotic to travel illustrations.
