Sunbathing on capri' by slim aarons estate edition (edition size 150 only) super oversize 60 x 40 inches catherine wilke joins the topless sunbathers - along with elisabetta catalano, charlotte ticken and pamela grupas - on the island of capri, italy, in august 1980. Often mistaken for a young kate moss, this relatively new archive find is a sumptuous alternate shot to the better known 'catherine wilke' (also listed by us). It has all the elements of a typical slim, beautiful girls in bikinis, swimming pool, and cocktails. This photograph epitomises the travel style and glamour of the period's wealthy and famous, beautifully documented by aarons.
