This is … more Stunning Postbox red leather Georgian Porters wingback armchair, circa 1780. A very good looking and highly decorative piece. This is an original Georgian circa 1780 armchair, the seat platform is all coil sprung, the leather individually hand nail tacked in place, the frame is solid mahogany and is what's called a Georgian H-frame meaning if you lay the chair down and look at the frame it looks like the letter H. The front legs are nicely tapered It has been lightly restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish.
