Description: We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning George III Thomas Chippendale style mahogany bookcase on serpentine chest of … more We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning George III Thomas Chippendale style mahogany bookcase on serpentine chest of drawers A glorious find, truly stunning, after original Thomas Chippendale pieces, circa 1800. The chest of drawers has a lovely curved serpentine finish, the drawers are fabric lined with nice detailing, the top has an oxblood leather serving tray. The top bookcase is red velvet lined. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the timber has some old repairs here and there, mostly it's lovely. Dimensions: Height 211.5 cm the pediment alone is 25.5 cm included in the above measurements. Width 95 cm Depth 50 cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point\. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition.
