Stunning fully restored Regency circa 1810-1820 hand dyed cigar brown leather serpentine fronted Chesterfield club sofa This sofa is as rare as they come, it’s a period original Regency which is rare in its self however being a serpentine curved front model it is as rare as hens teeth, I’ve seen maybe two of these in all my years It is horsehair padded, the seat platform is coil sprung, the front edge is also coil sprung which again is rare, the legs and frame are solid mahogany, the leather has been fully restored to include a wash back hand dyed and seal so it's ready for the next family, the woodwork has all been polished Dimensions Height:- 77cm Width:- 189.5cm Depth:- 101cm Seat height:- 44.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
