Original etching on woven paper. The etching belongs to the Third Edition of Los Caprichos published in 1868 by the Calcografia Nacional for the Real Academia of Madrid. The edition includes 80 original etchings. Plate n. 67. Numbered on the upper right margin. Titled on the lower central margin ''Aguarda que te unten''. Good conditions except for some folds and some foxings along the margins. Some tape traces on the back. A little tear on the upper margin. All the figures in this original print appear contrite yet restraint. They show the horrors of their souls in their physical aspects. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price.
