We are delighted to offer this lovely small R.E.H Kennedy made, Harrods London retailed military campaign bureau desk in mahogany with brass fittings A good looking and well made piece. This is ideally suited as a workstation for a compact area. It has a lovely drop flap front which doubles as a writing surface which has been upholstered in gold leaf tooled green leather This was made by Kennedy who specialise in military campaign furniture and retail through Harrods as mentioned. Kennedy were Harrods oldest concession, they retailed with them for over 87 years Condition wise, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it will have normal age and use related patina marks, there are also some marks to the top Dimensions Height:- 94cm Width:- 53cm Depth:- 40.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
