- We are delighted to offer this absolutely stunning Victorian Pitch Pine low two over two chest of drawers with Victorian … more We are delighted to offer this absolutely stunning Victorian Pitch Pine low two over two chest of drawers with Victorian castors and stamped to the rear George Hudson This is a true piece of classic English country house furniture. The timber patina is absolutely amazing full stop, it is pitch pine and has the most exotic swirls and burrs I have ever seen. It is stamped to the rear George Hudson Burnley, I couldn’t find out much about him online, he married in 1881 and that’s about all I can see, perhaps he wasn't in production for long so doesn't have a strong online presents with his antique pieces Condition wise, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it will have normal age and use related patina marks, there are also some marks to the top Dimensions Height:- 74.5cm Width:- 121.5cm Depth:- 52cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade. less
