The elegant rattan body is topped by two female figures, back-to-back. One of them appears pregnant. It is possible the figures reference original ancestors or, coupled figures can also refer to siblings and twins (ref: Indonesian Tribal Art, Bruce W. Carpenter, 2015). The piece is in good vintage condition commensurate with age. Dimensions (without stand): H 35.5 cm / 14.0'' Dia 2.0 cm / 0.8''. See less
