It has a dark grey metal base  with a rectangle shaped shade that gives a down and upward light. The lamp is in a good condition with signs of age and use as you can see in the pictures. The inside of the shade shows spots from oxidation. The switch box is of metal and is in the same color as the pedestal. This lights does show similarities to the designs of Gino Sarfatti, especially how the wiring is designed at the top. Do note that this light is documented in the Indoor Lightpocket of 1967, next to lights by Gino Sarfatti. All has new wiring and is ready for instant use.
